Docs Roadmap

Roadmap

Apps, a sell flow, and scans you can share. Object ETFs moved off this page and into the product.

  1. Soon

    iOS and Android apps

Native camera, same identify route, same wallet.

  2. Shipped

    Object ETFs

One ERC-20 per object, minted in kind by the first buyer.

  3. Design

    Sell flow

Reverse legs: stock → ETH, one execute.

  4. Later

    Social scans

A shareable card per scan, weights included.

Four items, in rough order. The second one shipped; the first has a date word attached to it.

Apps

iOS and Android apps are next. Same identify route, same wallet, a native camera instead of getUserMedia. The web app already downscales and posts one JPEG, so the mobile clients are thin. Soon.

Object ETFs

Shipped, as the object ETF: one ERC-20 per object, minted in kind by a factory that runs the same swaps as the direct buy, created lazily by the first buyer, redeemable for the stocks by anyone. What is left on the roadmap is the deployment itself and, later, an ETF-to-ETH sell that redeems and swaps in one transaction.

Sell flow

The reverse of the buy: stock in, ETH out, one execute. ERC-20 input needs Permit2, which is why it is not in the current batch encoding (encodeV4BasketSwap refuses a non-native tokenIn). The vault will get a Sell pill per position, and later a Sell all that mirrors the basket.

Social scans

A shareable card per scan: the photo, the makers, the weights, and a link that opens the same basket. The id already exists (a hash of the object and its tickers), so cards can be regenerated without storing the image.

What will not change

No custody, no stored photos, no fee of Photoswap's own. Anything on this page has to fit those three.
